Who is Grace Melona?
Well that’s a pretty deep question, but let’s try to decode her as much as we can.
She’s an enthusiastic UX designer from Toronto, ON who believes in responsible design and sustainable living.
Formerly, as a Chemical Engineering graduate, she found engineering to be too strict and less free flowing. Later on, little did she know that she’d stumble upon the world of UX design and enroll for a design bootcamp called DesignLab. This led her to make an interesting career shift that she’d likely be pursuing for the next couple of years, maybe more, who knows what life has in store for her.
Her love for the environment, sustainable living and recycling has taken a new meaning through UX design. Making color choices, designing reusable components, reducing information overload and helping humans ease into habits is what she finds really intriguing.
Her world outside Figma involves hiking, cooking, vegetable gardening, crocheting and just spending time in nature.
But wait! Everyone has that one quirky thing that’s unique, what’s hers you ask? Binging on Spicy Korean noodles while watching her next favorite Netflix thriller.
Does she sound like someone you’d like to connect?
